Join the class that Lake Orion has loved for more than 15 years and you will be impressed by your own dog! Classes taught by Julie Bennett, Michigan’s only trainer to have three opportunities to work with Cesar Millan, National Geographic’s The Dog Whisperer. FIRST NIGHT ONLY: Meet at 7 pm. No dogs or puppies. Proof of rabies vaccine for dogs over 6 months only.

The Lake Orion Varsity Basketball Staff and players are excited to bring you the Dragons Elite Youth Basketball League. Teams will be coached & taught by parent volunteers. Designed to fit into your busy schedule with practices and games being on the same day. This league will meet for 7 Sundays with the first Sunday being practice only. The following six Sundays will include practice and games. Practices will be 45 minutes.

Transform afterschool into an adventure of art and discovery with Young Rembrandts! Our students will explore basic composition with our Fish Below Ice drawing and will travel to the Great Wall of China right from their desk. Franz Marc’s Blue Horse will be the subject of our art history lesson. Oh, lucky you. We will draw cartoons too! Have fun Learning while Drawing with Young Rembrandts!

Come and join us in a fun day of bonding and friendly competition. This is the perfect opportunity for spending some quality time together as father and son while having fun playing the classic game of cornhole. Our tournament is open for all players whether you are a pro or a novice. Prizes will be given to the top two teams in each category.

The program will start with an instructional clinic on December 14. Practices will begin the week of January 6. Games will be played on January 11, 18, 25, February 1, 8, and 22. Volunteer coaches are needed for the girls league. Games are officiated by current high school players within the Lake Orion program. We ask that coaches and spectators are mindful that they are volunteering their time and that it is a great learning opportunity for them with the league being at the youth level.

Full access to Starz gymnastics room including mats, bars, beams, vault, and loads of props/toys. Practice your skills or just burn off some energy. Staff member is present to ensure safety; however, no formal lesson will occur.

Fun, high energy, and upbeat! Class begins with a thorough warm up taught to fast music, and then learn today’s hottest dance style while we incorporate acrobatics and tumbling. Dancers learn to isolate their bodies with control, precision, and rhythm. Music and choreography will be age appropriate. Please bring a water bottle and wear dance or athletic clothing (no jeans). The program is designed to teach beginners, from first grade up, the concepts of self-discipline, self-defense and self-confidence to make the right choices. In this beginner class, parents are welcome to JOIN and train with their children and increase their flexibility while mastering proper balance and coordination skills in the same class.
