Zumba Dance and Fitness
Zumba Dance and Fitness combines high energy and motivating music (popular and international) with easy-to-follow moves and combinations. The class will focus on both cardiovascular and strength training movement in intervals to maximize caloric output, fat-burning, muscle strengthening and toning. This workout is FUN and is great for both your body and your mind.

Rising STARZ Gymnastics
Basic level skills are reinforced, as more advanced skills are introduced in all apparatus: floor, vault, beam, and bars with an emphasis on building self-confidence, self-esteem, and body awareness. Class taught for all levels: beginner through intermediate with focus on completing USA Gymnastics Level 1 skills.Lake Orion Enrichment Services in cooperation with STARZ Performing Arts offers recreational children’s gymnastics lessons. There are three sessions: fall, winter, and spring. Join us for one, two, or all three sessions; yearlong students in the program receive a trophy in June. Participants should wear leotards or fitness clothing (no jeans) and bring a water bottle. CERC provides a quiet waiting area in the main lobby where parents will remain during the class. A formal “Olympics” will be presented to the parents and guests on the last week to demonstrate skills and progress.

Youth
This class is for the child who has passed level 4. We will be focusing on swimming 50 yards of each competitive stroke including sidestroke and elementary backstroke, treading water and diving into deep water. Freestyle flip turns will be introduced.

This class is for the child who passed level 5. This is a swim conditioning class to refine technique and will emphasize stroke technique and endurance.

Beginner 2 Adult Swim Class
Adult
This class is designed to help the adult who wants to learn teh basics of swimming. Swimmers will be perfecting stroke technique, gaining endurance and learning the fundamentals of water safety.

Parent Tot
Preschool Swim
This is a combined classes for ages 6 months to 3.5 years old with a parent in the water. This class will stress safety and teaches parents, grandparents and caregivers how to help their child become comfortable in the water. Swimming diapers are required under swim suit if the child is not potty-trained. Level of support and assistance from parent will vary depending upon the skill level and confidence of the child. Skills to be introduced: bubble blowing, front an back float, reaching, kicking, jumping in the water, beginning arm movements on the front and back all supported and safety in and around the pool.

Beginner 1 Adult Swim Class
Adult
This class is designed to help the adult become more comfortable in the water and overcome any fear in the water. This is a beginning class and the instructor will help each student with these basic skills: breath control through mouth/nose, front/back float as well as beginning arm and kick movement for freestyle and feel safe and comfortable around the water.
