This class is for the child who can do front crawl/freestyle and elementary backstroke. The child must be able to jump into deep water. We will focus on proper rotary breathing and introduce breastroke and backstroke, diving, scissor kick will be introduced for sidestroke.

This class is for the child who passed level 5. This is a swim conditioning class to refine technique and will emphasize stroke technique and endurance.

Self Defense for Girls and Women
Special Interest
This class focuses on developing situational awareness as well as learning self-defense techniques applicable to various attacks. From a simple wrist grab to an attempted choke, students will learn defensive as well as offensive skills. Additional topics will cover identification/use of potential weapons, vulnerable target areas on attackers as well as kicking, punching, and throwing drills. Class is taught by American Martial Arts Academy Fourth Dan (Masters) and Third Dan Black Belts.

Spanish Level II with Espanol con animo!

This class is for students who already have basic knowledge of Spanish (alphabet, colors, numbers, etc.) or who have taken the Beginner Level I class. In this class, we will dive deeper into Spanish and build upon the basics by learning how to ask questions in Spanish, discovering how to conjugate verbs, and becoming familiar with useful phrases as we progress. We will continue to have fun learning about Spanish and Latin American culture, playing games, listening to music, and much more!

TGA Premier Junior Golf
Sports
TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn to play golf right in the school gym! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that lesson plans are age appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a mix of golf instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our screened and certified instructors have a passion for working with children and are trained to help your student-athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a passion for the sport. TGA provides all equipment. First-time students receive a TGA hat and Student Handbook. Continuing students (orange, red, blue and black levels) receive a different gift for their level. On the final day, all students receive a hat clip corresponding to the level they just completed. TGA guarantees a student-coach ration of 8-1 or better.

Join us as we plan, rehearse, and perform The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by Frances Mapp (with some added characters and scenes by Mrs. Firis!) Taught by Stadium Drive’s former Theatre teacher, Megan Firis, this workshop is geared toward anyone who likes to collaborate, create, and perform. No prior acting or theatre experience is required. Just come ready to try some new things and have fun! Some reading required. We will perform our play on the last day of the class.

Calling all Brownies! Earn a vintage Brownie badge with our theatre teacher, Megan Firis. Brownies will complete all badge requirements and receive their badge plus a fun patch on the last day of class. Learn how to be an actor and put on a play in a fun and stress-free way. An informal performance will be held on the last day. A material fee of $5 is payable to the instructor at check-in. Drop offs encouraged - Girl Scout background checked adult ratios and safety guidelines will be followed. No Tagalongs please.
