Ballet/Tap/Jazz
Dance
This class develops a dance work ethic in a positive atmosphere that builds self-esteem. The students will learn proper ballet technique, vocabulary, jumps, and leaps while incorporating them into many different styles of dance. Jazz incorporates stretching, across the floor combinations, and stylized routines. Tap concentrates on rhythm, improvisation, and tap choreography. Dance apparel and shoes suggested but not mandatory. Please pack a water bottle.

Crayola Wild World: Eco Heroes
Art
Gear up for a brand-new mission to protect the planet! Each week, kids meet a new animal and discover how conservation heroes are working to keep them safe. One class might bring icy polar bears to life, another will celebrate frogs in vivid color, design patterned snakes, or explore swirling jellyfish with ink diffusion. Every project is different, every story inspiring. Eco Heroes is a different adventure from Animal Rescuers – new animals and new projects! Registration fee includes $35 material fee.

Love soccer and working hard to have a winning season with your team? Trying to figure out if playing soccer at the travel level is for you? The same people who brought you Mini Dragons Soccer now offer 7-11 year olds 60 challenging but fun soccer training activities with functional muscle development drills, infused with 15+ minute competitive games, reviewing all the steps to play a real soccer game. Shinguards are required for all ages. Uniform package (jersey with number, shorts and socks) required and purchased separately for $20.

Fun, high energy, and upbeat! Class begins with a thorough warm up taught to fast music, and then learn today’s hottest dance style while we incorporate acrobatics and tumbling. Dancers learn to isolate their bodies with control, precision, and rhythm. Music and choreography will be age appropriate. Please bring a water bottle and wear dance or athletic clothing (no jeans).

Join this exciting program that has been sponsored by Lake Orion Enrichment Services for over 36 years under the direction of Grand Master Leo Mayer 8th Dan Black Belt. The program is designed to teach beginners, from first grade up, the concepts of self-discipline, self-defense and self-confidence to make the right choices. In this beginner class, parents are welcome to JOIN and train with their children and increase their flexibility while mastering proper balance and coordination skills in the same class. Stop by and talk to certified black belt instructors at the demonstration on the first night. Tournaments available. Registration fee of $150 payable at first night demonstration class.

Karate for Kids

Karate for Kids is a program designed and taught by the same instructors that have provided martial arts classes to the Lake Orion Enrichment Services families for over 36 years. Directed by Grand Master Leo Mayer 8th Dan Black Belt, the program at this level will enhance, build and develop socialization skills, self-confidence and physical fitness. This class will accomplish these goals by using fun games, exercises and group activities that stress camaraderie.

This new and energetic class replaces STARZ gymnastics classes. We will incorporate tumbling moves, dance routines, fitness games, and fun movement-based exercises, promoting coordination, team work, and FUN while staying active in our same supportive STARZ environment.
