Join us for a Starz sugar plum celebration, a festive-nutcracker inspired holiday party for children and families! Enjoy DIY nutcracker ornament crafts, Land of the Sweets cookie decorating, a hot cocoa bar, dancing, games, and holiday magic as we celebrate Miss Cindy’s final nutcracker season! Guests are encouraged to wear their holiday best for this special sugar plum celebration!

Create magic with a vintage Santa mug in this holiday art class. Students will paint their own Santa expression, from his nose to a whipped topping swirl and paint in festive colors. A material fee of $10 is payable to instructor at the first class. Class taught by elementary art teacher Mrs. Meehan.

Calling all future babysitters! Take this class to learn what it takes to be the best babysitter in town! Topics covered includes how to care for children of various ages, what to do in case of an emergency, and how to manage your babysitting business. First aid basics will be covered. Bring a writing utensil.

This class develops a dance work ethic in a positive atmosphere that builds self-esteem. The students will learn proper ballet technique, vocabulary, jumps, and leaps while incorporating them into many different styles of dance. Jazz incorporates stretching, across the floor combinations, and stylized routines. Tap concentrates on rhythm, improvisation, and tap choreography. Dance apparel and shoes suggested but not mandatory. Please pack a water bottle. The Starz Nutcracker will be held Friday, December 4, 2026 at 6:00pm in the CERC Cafetorium.

Times will be arranged with instructor. Classes meet at various locations and times.

Some places are so amazing, kids can hardly believe they are real. In this Crayola Creativity Club, children will explore incredible landmarks like the Great Wall of China, the Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza, Neuschwanstein Castle, and the Taj Mahal. Each week brings a new wonder with a story full of imagination, history, mystery, and larger-than-life design. Kids will discover how these famous places were built, why people still talk about them today, and what makes them feel so special. It is a fun, hands-on way for kids to explore the world’s most unforgettable landmarks while creating projects they will be excited to bring home. No experience needed. Registration fee includes $40 material fee.

You and your child (best suited for ages 6 months to 2 years) will participate in general movement activities to improve gross and fine motor skills and enhance awareness while having fun with the basics of tumbling, dancing, singing, and jumping with props such as puppets, balls, ribbons, bubbles, parachute, and more! Siblings in attendance must be registered. Class may participate in recital.

The Lake Orion Varsity Basketball Staff and players are excited to bring you the Dragons Elite Youth Basketball League. Teams will be coached & taught by parent volunteers. Designed to fit into your busy schedule with practices and games being on the same day. The following 6 Sundays will include practice and games. Practices will be 45 minutes. Practice and games will be held at LOHS in the Aux Gym and Fieldhouse. Jersey must be purchased at the Administration Office, 1335 Joselyn Road. Jerseys are $22.

Let’s move and groove and earn a badge! In this playful and supportive environment, girls will build confidence, teamwork, and accomplish the 5 requirements to earn their brownie dance try-it badge. Not a brownie or even a girl scout? Come join us anyway and earn a fun patch while exploring your creative movement and staying active!

The program will kick off with a skills clinic for the players the first week on Saturday December 5, which will also serve as a coach’s clinic and help give them some tools to incorporate into their practices. Each week on gameday Saturdays, teams will practice for an hour before they play. Games are officiated by current high school players. As a result, any coaches or spectators that are not treating them with respect will be dismissed from the opportunity to coach a team or attend the games. This is a foundational piece of the LO girls’ basketball program. This program keeps things competitive but also fun for the girls. December 5 will meet in the Aux Gym at LOHS, January 9 will meet in the Oakview gym, January 16 January 23 January 30 will meet in the Fieldhouse at LOHS, and February 6 will meet in the Oakview gym. League will not meet December 19, December 26, January 2.

Fun, high energy, and upbeat! Class begins with a thorough warm up taught to fast music and then learn today’s hottest dance style while we incorporate acrobatics and tumbling. Dancers learn to isolate their bodies with control, precision, and rhythm. Music and choreography will be age appropriate. Please wear dance or athletic clothing…No jeans and pack a water bottle!
