Cheernastics
Learn cheerleading basics including sideline cheers, floor cheers, jumps, tumbling and stunts, a pom/dance routine, and mounting/pyramids. Please pack a water bottle and wear athletic clothing. Participants will perform in recital. For extra tumbling skills, participants are encouraged to join tumbling clinics or open gym on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Puddle Jumpers 1&2
This is a combination Puddle Jumpers 1&2 for ages 3-5 years old. This class is without a parent. Skills taught will be working towards independent water entry, supported kicking, supported front float and back float without assistance, face fully submerged and starting to do combined arm and leg action for 2 body lengths of the child. They will continue to work towards independent swimming.

TGA Premier Junior Golf
Sports
TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn to play golf right in the school gym! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that lesson plans are age-appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a mix of golf instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our screened and certified instructors have a passion for working with children and are trained to help your student-athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a passion for the sport. TGA provides all equipment. First-time students receive a TGA hat and Student Handbook Continuing students (orange, red, blue and black levels) receive a different gift for their level. On the final day, all students receive a hat clip corresponding to the level they just completed. TGA guarantees a student-coach ratio of 8-1 or better.

The Michigan Easy Bake Off
Special Interest
Each team will have a student and a parent. They will prepare their own cake batter and frosting using the supplies provided. Teams will have one hour to make and decorate their masterpiece in which they will present to judges. The only thing participants need to bring is a container to take their cakes home. Material fee of $10 per team payable to instructor at class.

Theatre Production Workshop: Dracula's Favorite Son

Join as we plan, rehearse, and perform Dracula’s Favorite Son, by Kathleen Palmer. Taught by Stadium Drive’s former Theatre teacher, Megan Firis, this workshop is geared toward anyone who likes to collaborate, create, and perform. No prior acting or theatre experience is required. Just come ready to try some new things and have fun! Some reading is required. We will perform our play on the last day of the class. Great for Scouts- Fun Patch awarded to each student at the performance!

A mindful form of Hatha yoga presented through guided sequence. A class which offers strength and flexibility though breath awareness with soothing aromatherapy. Optional massage in final resting pose-great for all levels of yoga.

Tumbling Clinics

Join us for these clinics where we focus on a different skill each session. Students do not need to be able to complete the skills or have prior knowledge of how to complete it. Completing clinic does not guarantee skill perfection but instead focuses on tips and tricks for gymnasts to practice successfully at home. Staff are knowledgeable on proper spotting techniques. Please wear athletic clothing and bring a water bottle. PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED 1 WEEK PRIOR OR SESSION MAY BE CANCELLED.

This Wedding Ballroom Crash Course is the perfect way to quickly learn the essential steps and styling for a confident, elegant first dance, daddy-daughter, mother-son—or to simply feel at ease dancing at any wedding event. In this fast-paced, beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn how to move smoothly with your partner, find your rhythm, and add just the right amount of flair—no prior dance experience needed! Perfect for couples, parents of the bride or groom, or anyone attending a wedding who wants to dance with style and grace. Please bring your dance music and if possible, wear your event footwear.

YEL! Coding: Video Games with Scratch

STEM Video Game Enrichment for the 21st Century learner. Each {YEL!} Video Game class follows four basic components: •Teach It! Students learn different video game design techniques (movement blocks, control blocks, basic animation, adding scores, etc.) •Code It! Students use Scratch* to code their own video games: i.e. maze runner, asteroid smash and more. •Explore It! Students can write their own video game code, experiment with it and test new options. Young chefs will roll up their sleeves and step into the kitchen to create a delicious, deconstructed lasagna that’s simple to make and generous enough to feed the whole family! Along the way, they’ll learn essential kitchen skills, practice safe use of cooking tools, and build confidence as they prepare ingredients from scratch. All ingredients are provided, and each participant will leave with a family-sized meal ready to bake, plus the skills and confidence to recreate this crowd-pleasing dish at home.
