Drawing with Young Rembrandts: Session 1
Art
Young Rembrandt students will have fun learning to draw colorful compositions using creative patterns and designs. The session will kick-off with a drawing of a detailed gumball machine. We will then progress to a realistic dragonfly drawing. A colorful Egyptian headdress will be the focus of our art history lesson. This session features cartoon classes, too.

Art
Young Rembrandt classes offers all-new, exciting projects this fall. A globe-trotting koala, a video game inspired still life, and a playful nutcracker are all in the line-up. We will even create a silly squid dressed as a holiday tree! The class features cartoon drawings, too! Every lesson strengthens your child’s focus, fine motor skills and creativity.

Estate Planning 101
Finance and Investments
Everyone should have an estate plan. Do you know what will happen to your family and your assets after you die? If not, you don’t want to miss this program brought to you by attorney Michelle McRee of McRee Law, PLLC. If you die without an estate plan, your family will be subjected to the long, expensive and stressful probate process and at the end the state says who gets what from your estate. Even worse, if you have minor children a judge will decide who will raise them. Learn everything you should know about wills, trusts, powers of attorney and guardian nominations and how you can avoid the pitfalls of probate.

Exploring Music with Ms. Rennels

This class is for elementary students who love to experiment with sound and make music! Class includes: bucket drumming, make your own rubber-band ukulele, instrument and rhythm games, trying out instruments with strings (such as electric/acoustic guitar, violin, and folk harp), trying out wind instruments (trumpet, trombone, recorder, flute), make a drinking-straw shawm and create your very own "trash band drum kit." Each student will receive a new pair of drumsticks, all instrument building materials will be provided. Registration fee includes material fee of $10.

Let’s move and groove and earn a badge! In this playful and supportive environment, girls will build confidence, teamwork, and accomplish the five requirements to earn their brownie dance try-it badge. Not a brownie or a girl scout? Come join us anyway and earn a fun patch while exploring your creative movement and staying active.

The program will start with an instructional clinic on December 13. Practices will be held once a week, either on Mondays or Wednesdays, beginning the week of January 5. Games will be played on January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7, and 21. Volunteer coaches are needed for the girls league.

Fun, high energy, and upbeat! Class begins with a thorough warm up taught to fast music, and then learn today’s hottest dance style while we incorporate acrobatics and tumbling. Dancers learn to isolate their bodies with control, precision, and rhythm. Music and choreography will be age appropriate. Please bring a water bottle and wear dance or athletic clothing (no jeans). Karate for Kids is a program designed and taught by the same instructors that have provided martial arts classes to the Lake Orion Enrichment Services families for over 36 years. Directed by Grand Master Leo Mayer 8th Dan Black Belt, the program at this level will enhance, build and develop socialization skills, self-confidence and physical fitness. This class will accomplish these goals by using fun games, exercises and group activities that stress camaraderie.

In this one-night class, your instructor will take you behind-the-scenes in the voice over field for a fun and realistic look at how the voice over field really works. This one-time crash course is the perfect way to learn the basics of fiery, fun Latin dances like rumba, merengue, salsa, cha-cha, and tango—all in a single, high-energy session. No partner? No problem! This class is designed for beginners and curious dancers alike. This class is for the child who can submerge face completely under water and float independently. We will be working on independent front an back floating and swimming 3-4 body lengths with arms and legs as well as jumping in deep water.

This class is for a child who can swim independently for 5 body lengths with combined arm and leg action (front crawl) and be able to jump in and fully submerge and recover. This class will introduce rotary breathing and focus mainly on freestyle and introduce swimming 1 length of the pool and jumping in deep water, backstroke, elementary backstroke and treading.
