After care for mini school daze camps, 4 pm - 6 pm

This class develops a dance work ethic in a positive atmosphere that builds self-esteem. The students will learn proper ballet technique, vocabulary, turns, jumps, and leaps while incorporating them into many different styles of dance. Jazz incorporates stretching, across the floor combinations, and stylized routines. Tap concentrates on rhythm, improvisation, and tap choreography. Dance apparel and shoes suggested but not mandatory. Class will participate in a recital at the end of the session. Pass, dribble, shoot... have fun while learning basic basketball skills with mini games. Join Coach Brydges for this instructional clinic that will cover all the fundamentals.

In this class, you will learn how to make professional looking cookies that can be gifted to friends and family. The following sessions use basic techniques and do not build on each other. In each session, we will use basic techniques to decorate a set of five cookies. We will discuss how other variations of these cookies can be created with just a few changes. Students with no decorating experience welcome. A material fee of $7 is due to the instructor at each class. Registration will end three days prior to each class date so the instructor can prepare materials. Please register early!

The Lake Orion Varsity Basketball Staff and players are excited to bring you the Dragons Elite Youth Basketball League. Teams will be coached & taught by parent volunteers. Designed to fit into your busy schedule with practices and games being on the same day. This league will meet for 7 Sundays with the first Sunday being practice only. The following six Sundays will include practice and games. Practices will be 45 minutes.

The program will start with an instructional clinics on December 16. Practices will begin the week of January 8. Games will be played on January 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 2. Volunteer coaches are needed for the girls league. Games are officiated by current high school players within the Lake Orion program. We ask that coaches and spectators are mindful that they are volunteering their time and that it is a great learning opportunity for them with the league being at the youth level.

This is an organized workout for conditioning and improving stroke technique. Level 1 triathlon coach will be on deck with a written workout. You must be able to swim 4 lengths of the pool in 3 minutes. Singe Drop-in rate is $10.00. Punch cards are $85.00 for 10 practices. Practices will begin 10/2/22-12/18/22. 2023 practices will be announced in December. No swim practice on 10/16/22, 10/23/22, 11/27/22.

Break day fun! Mini camps will be offered when students are off for a half day. Busing will be available to take students from their school to the CERC building. Registration deadline is one week before camp. PLEASE NOTE: Paint Creek, Stadium and Webber have a half day on December 1. Blanche Sims, Carpenter and Orion Oaks have a half day on December 8. Please be sure to register for the right date according to the elementary that your child attends.
