Crayola Wild World: Animal Rescuers
Kids explore the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom and discover nature in a way that inspires empathy, curiosity, and creativity. They have fun experimenting with a variety of art techniques and use Crayola art materials to create turtle sculptures, watercolor sharks and fish, elephant silhouette paintings and lion sculptures. Registration fee includes $35 material fee.

You and your child will participate in general movement activities to improve gross and fine motor skills and enhance awareness while having fun with the basics of tumbling, dancing, singing, and jumping with props such as puppets, balls, ribbons, bubbles, parachutes and more! This class develops a dance work ethic in a positive atmosphere that builds self-esteem. The students will learn proper ballet technique, vocabulary, jumps, and leaps while incorporating them into many different styles of dance. Jazz incorporates stretching, across the floor combinations, and stylized routines. Tap concentrates on rhythm, improvisation, and tap choreography. Dance apparel and shoes suggested but not mandatory. Please pack a water bottle. Class will participate in a recital at the end of the session. Get ready for weddings, cruises or special occasions or just enjoy a date night by learning the basics of Waltz, Swing, Fox Trot and a mix of the Latin dances. This class introduces basic steps, timing, and style of each dance as well as provides several eye-catching sequences while more experienced dancers can fine-tune the steps they already know. Soon you will be gliding effortlessly across the floor. Wear smooth sole shoes.

Learn cheerleading basics including sideline cheers, floor cheers, jumps, tumbling and stunts, a pom/dance routine, and mounting/pyramids. Please pack a water bottle and wear athletic clothing. Participants will perform in recital. For extra gymnastics skills, participants are encouraged to join tumbling clinics or open gym on Tuesdays.

Join the class that Lake Orion has loved for more than 15 years and you will be impressed by your own dog! Classes taught by Julie Bennett, Michigan’s only trainer to have three opportunities to work with Cesar Millan, National Geographic’s The Dog Whisperer. FIRST NIGHT ONLY: Meet at 7 pm. No dogs or puppies. Proof of rabies vaccine for dogs over 6 months only.

The same people who brought you Mini Dragons Soccer now offer 7-11 year olds 60 challenging but fun soccer training activities with functional muscle development drills, infused with 15+ minute competitive games, reviewing all the steps to play a real soccer game. Shinguards are required for all ages. Uniform package (jersey with number, shorts and socks) required and purchased separately for $20.

Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People, Virtual Class
Special Interest
In just a few hours, you can learn enough secrets of the trade to give you years of musical enjoyment. Learn to play piano or guitar the way professionals do-using chords. These classes are being held online with ZOOM so you will be able to sit at your piano or keyboard at home and take this course with no pressure at all. And since this course includes an online book and online follow up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. An optional periodic online question and answer session is also included. A recording of the class is included as well. The course is partly lecture/demonstration and partly hands on instruction. Instant Guitar Topics include: how chords work in a song, how to form the three main types of chords, how to tune your guitar, basic strumming patterns, how to buy a good guitar (things to avoid), and how to play along with simple tunes.
