Dance
This class develops a dance work ethic in a positive atmosphere that builds self-esteem. The students will learn proper ballet technique, vocabulary, jumps, and leaps while incorporating them into many different styles of dance. Jazz incorporates stretching, across the floor combinations, and stylized routines. Tap concentrates on rhythm, improvisation, and tap choreography. Dance apparel and shoes suggested but not mandatory. Please pack a water bottle.

Steamed buns combine carbohydrates, a variety of vegetables, eggs, and meat into one delicious and nutritious food, making them a smart and healthy dietary choice. It is rich in layers of flavor, especially good for vegetarian and kids. Making steamed buns is a group activity that everyone in the family can participate in. In this lesson, we will learn how to prepare the dough for the bun wrappers, mix both meat and vegetarian fillings, fold and pleat the buns, and steam them properly. $15 Material fee paid at first class.

Get ready for a fun after-school adventure! Each week the kids jump into a new fable filled with snow legends, ancient guardians, and playful folk creatures. Using Crayola® supplies, they get to try out different materials and techniques while turning each story into something creative they can take home. Every class brings a new fable and a different project, so they are always making something special and new. Registration fee includes $44 material fee.

Does your dog pull on a leash? Jump on company? Not come when called? Join this fun, informative class to fix these and many other behaviors. Basic obedience commands and so much more. Join the class that Lake Orion has loved for more than 15 years and you will be impressed by your own dog! Classes taught by Julie Bennett, Michigan’s only trainer to have three opportunities to work with Cesar Millan, National Geographic’s The Dog Whisperer. FIRST NIGHT ONLY: Meet at 7 pm. No dogs or puppies. Proof of rabies vaccine for dogs over 6 months only.

The girls lacrosse game is not like the boys game. It has different rules and equipment. While it is physical, it is a strategic finesse game with much less contact. This is a beginners entry level opportunity for your daughter to learn about the girls game, be in a positive team oriented environment and most importantly to have fun! They will learn the aspects of the game, learn team dynamics, work on skills and play in games with other local programs. Registration covers uniforms, field costs, goalie equipment, referees, games, and coaches fee. Player must bring face mask, girls stick, mouth guard and cleats. Games may be on other weekdays and some weekends. Season will conclude with a local tournament May 31/June 1.

Love soccer and working hard to have a winning season with your team? Trying to figure out if playing soccer at the travel level is for you? The same people who brought you Mini Dragons Soccer now offer 7-11 year olds 60 challenging but fun soccer training activities with functional muscle development drills, infused with 15+ minute competitive games, reviewing all the steps to play a real soccer game. Shinguards are required for all ages. Uniform package (jersey with number, shorts and socks) required and purchased separately for $20.

This is the perfect opportunity for spending some quality time together as father and son while having fun playing the classic game of cornhole. Our tournament is open for all players whether you are a pro or a novice. Prizes will be given to the top two teams in each category.
